IPC Hand Soldering Competition Winner chose JBC equipment
Once again the winner of the IPC Hand Soldering Competition at SMT Hybrid Packaging 2016 became Nº 1 with a JBC station.
JBC on the top of podium
Competitors from well-known electronics companies competed at the IPC Hand Soldering Competition at SMT Hybrid Packaging 2016 in Nuremberg, Germany. It was Katja Stahlmann, from Grundig Business Systems GmbH, who won first prize of €300 and a place in the 2017 IPC Hand Soldering World Championship in San Diego.
The winner was also awarded a CD-2BE Compact Soldering Station presented by Karl Schmid from the R+D Department at JBC and who gave the contestants support during the competition.
Excellence in soldering
The best-of-the-best hand soldering talent in Europe came to demonstrate their soldering skills during the 3-day exhibition. Those who competed with a JBC soldering station were able to use the DME 4 Tools Control Unit, the T245-A General Purpose Handle, the T210-A Precision Purpose Handle, the PA-120 Microtweezers, the DR560-A Desoldering Iron and the CLMB Senior Tip Cleaner.
